    Five Favorite Beauty Products: July

This month I have five beauty favorites that I want to highlight that have been my go-to for the Summer, especially in all my travels lately! CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion – This oil free moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 has been my every day favorite! In the beginning of the Summer I was looking for a 30 SPF moisturizer that wouldn’t make my skin oily and would layer well under makeup and I found this gem. It’s an oil free and scent free moisturizer that is developed with Dermatologists and doesn’t break the bank!  This is my first CeraVe product I’ve used and I’m totally loving it. It stood…

    My Exercise and Fitness Journey

You’ll find countless ways on blogs on how to lose weight, get in shape, and feel your best. This is my version, a way to tell my story. This is in no way an effort to describe how I lost or am planning to lose weight. I think everyone has a body shape that is beautiful – and there is not one particular way to look in order to achieve ‘happiness’. I put the word happiness in quotes because I have to say that happiness is a secondary emotion for me when it comes to exercise. A lot of people are unhappy with how they look, so they jump into…

    My Go-To Summer Shoes!

I am so ready for the Summer, anyone else with me? I am so eager to wear all the cute summer dresses, skirts and shorts, but May Gray has been real in the Bay Area lately. In the meantime, here are a few of my go-to Summer shoes that I can dream about until the weather warms up! TOMs Strappy Wedge I have these wedges in black and the ‘Natural Yarn-Dye’ color and I practically live in them all Summer long! I wear them to work/church/brunch with jeans, dresses or skirts. They are the perfectly versatile wedge and most importantly they are so comfortable. Women’s Wilda Wedge Pumps These pumps…

    Four Favorite Beauty Products: May

Sharing my tried and true products for the month of May! What are some of your favorite Beauty products at the moment? L’OREAL Infallible 24 hr Pro-Glow Foundation. After a random afternoon a few months back browsing Target’s beauty section, I noticed this Glow version of the L’OREAL Infallible 24 hr foundation. I decided to give it a try because I love the Matte version. This formula is much ‘thinner and liquidy’ compared to the Matte version but it sits and blends on the skin beautifully and gives a ‘glow from within’ look. Best part? It’s about $10 USD! I have now gone through 3 bottles of this formula and will…

How to spend 3 days in Seattle!

My husband and I took a short 3 day trip to Seattle and it was wonderful! Seattle is a 2 hour short flight from Northern California so we were able to get just enough time to see and eat everything we wanted to 🙂 What to do: Visit Pike Place Market – this is a no brainer… depending on the season, you’ll see the Market full of fresh seasonal flowers! Make sure that you go in the morning or early afternoon, most vendors will start packing up by 3pm. Book a Seattle Underground tour. It was so much fun to hear all the history of the city while walking the…

    Shoes. Made of Recycled Bottles?

You read the title correctly. There’s a shoe that is made out of recycled water bottles! I was skeptical when I heard this for the first time. I was sitting at work while all the ladies started circulating a website of really adorable flats that came in all colors and patterns. I thought to myself, ‘Hmm okay… I can take a 10 mn mental break… Ok, those are really cute’. The only kicker (see what I did there?) which I noticed right away is the pricetag. Depending on the style you are digging they range between $125-$165. They come in three styles: The Flat, the Point and the Loafer. Did I buy…
